A wonderful range of high quality products is not the only reason to choose The Floor Space. Our efficient and speedy delivery service is another key factor in our success. Although delivery times will vary, you should receive your beautiful new wood floor in a matter of days. If you wish to check the progress of your order, you can do so via the My Account section. You should note that delivery is to the kerbside only.
We try our best to accurately reflect the colour and grain of each wood flooring on this site. However, please remember that wood is a natural product so variations are likely to occur. To get the best idea of how your chosen floor will look in your own home, why not select the order a sample option available on each product detail page before you make your choice.
Stock and order
All Caledonian brand woods are held in stock and (unless stated otherwise) are available for immediate despatch. Most Boen and Novoloc woods come directly from the manufacturers (and often have to be sourced from far flung places) so customers should phone our sales team on 0870 919 4098 to check their availability. You can order over the phone at that time.
Delivery within the UK mainland and Northern Ireland Only
We currently deliver throughout the UK mainland and Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to take orders online for the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and The Scottish Islands. To enquire or arrange delivery of your order to one of these locations, please call our sales team on 0870 919 4098.
Delivery charges
We are delighted to offer free delivery on all purchases of wood and accessories over the value of £500. Purchases up to the value of £499.99 incur a charge of £90 per delivery. For orders of accessories only (up to the value of £99.99), we add a delivery charge of £18. Accessory orders only above £100 have free delivery. If you would like a guaranteed morning delivery for flooring and accessories, we will add an additional charge of £50 regardless of value.
All costs quoted for wood floor samples are inclusive of postage. If you order wood flooring after you have received your sample, we will happily deduct the cost of the sample from the total cost of your full order (a voucher will be provided on purchase of sample; only one per customer).
Returns policy
The Floor Space takes the utmost care in selecting only the best in hardwood flooring and accessories. However, if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with the products you have received, you may return them to us only if they have unopened packaging and are received by the company in a re-sellable condition within 14 days of purchase.
For all returns, except where the item is faulty or damaged on arrival, you will be required to pay for return carriage. A 30% re-stocking levy will be charged. On receipt of returned goods a refund will be issued back to the original form of payment, minus the stocking charge.
Unfortunately we cannot refund or exchange used or customer-damaged items (your statutory rights not affected).
How do I return unwanted goods?
To organise your return, simply call 0870 919 4098 or email us at sales@hardwoodflooruk.com within 7 days of receipt of your goods, to obtain the relevant Returns Address and a Returns Number which must be quoted on your returned package. Goods must be returned within 14 days of purchase.
Faulty or damaged goods
For all returns, except where the item is faulty or damaged on arrival, you will be required to pay for return carriage. If your delivery is damaged or faulty upon arrival, this must be reported to us on 0870 919 4098 or sales@hardwoodflooruk.com within 48 hours so that we can make further arrangements with you.

Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your order, please call 0870 919 4098 or email sales@hardwoodflooruk.com as soon as possible, quoting your order number and your reason for cancellation. If you send an email, please include the words "order cancellation" in the email subject line.
Please note that we aim to process and despatch orders as quickly as possible. In the event that your order has already been processed and despatched, returns conditions will apply. For more information, please see our Returns policy.
