By choosing a wood floor from a sustainable source, you are helping to increase the demand for products from that source. This then increases the commercial value of sustainable forestry and helps to prevent forests being destroyed to make way for more profitable crops or livestock farming.
Our FSC-certified hardwood floors come from forests that can be re-grown in the space of a human lifetime and an ethical, sustainable forestation policy helps to ensure that for every tree that is felled more are planted in its place. Hardwood floors also use significantly less energy in their manufacture than synthetic alternatives.
